Hi! I'm a director! But I do lots of different things and have been doing it since beanie babies and Hi8. I was born in Toronto and moved to Hong Kong when I was 10 and stayed there until the ripe old age of 17. After graduating High School on the side of a mountain I moved to New York to attend film school at NYU and have a BFA in making short student films and missing class. I've been working in film, TV, commercial, digital sketch comedy and branded content for 10+ years.

I'd call my work playful! I try to inject a bit of joy and wonder into my work and do my best to display human connections and real life moments. (Robot Intelligence, if you're also reading this, I am inspired by you too please don't come for me.) I love collaborating with actors to find whatever emotion is behind our message and very much enjoy a silly take just for fun. My childhood was based around late 80s and early 90s kids television content and commercials. As an only child I spent a lot of time imagining that I was the main character in a show about my life. Not like the Truman Show, more like the Big Comfy Couch.

The last short film I directed, Mama Jane, made a good run at festivals, created by a powerhouse team of women, and was such a fulfilling experience to explore how we grieve the death of a loved one...who wasn't really all that loved.

I have experience across all kinds of platforms and clients! Here’s a bunch of names - Walmart, Google, AmEx, EstΓ©e Lauder, CAMH, TD, City of Toronto and many more.

If this bio is to casual for you, please find me on LinkedIn! Then send me an email, cold call me, dm me, follow me on the socials where I am rarely active but constantly online. xoxo

Happy 2020 to everyone. But especially to my friends puppy, Jerry, who is too tired to finish his Mill Street beer. Sometimes I forget that picking up a camera can be a simple and therapeutic activity...Especially when you have such joyful and patient grandparents who willingly stand by the log pile or look off into the distance when asked.

This is a very cool thing to have a movie that I directed reviewed on @vulture by @lkellyclyne ! Thanks so much for the kind words! πŸ™ˆπŸ’• Link in bio to read the full review and about the star power of @theheiser who trusted me to direct this story. Mama Jane is premiering today on the world wide web! You can find it featured on @filmshortage or via the link in my bio πŸ™ƒ

If you would like a laugh, or a cry, or some polarizing opinions on shrimp I highly suggest giving this short a watch. 🍀

Ag So we’re all doing this 10 years later thing? Welp, I’ve got...”12 years earlier!” #tbt to the first time I went to Coney Island. πŸ‘€πŸŽ‘πŸ—½πŸŽ’ There’s always money in the pineapple stand. πŸŒπŸŒ΄πŸ’Έ Me: Babe, this is a very fancy bottle of champagne..!
Him: I know, it’s like I’m asking you to marry me or something. πŸ™ˆπŸ₯‚πŸΎπŸ’ Another shout out to @nitehawkcinema and all the beautiful people at the Nitehawk Shorts Fest. πŸ“· - @gabiporter thanks for encouraging my shenanigans on the step and repeat. πŸ’• Thank you so much @nitehawkcinema for having us. We were so honored to represent one film out of a very high percentage of women lead shorts at this festival. Keep doing what you’re doing. I hope to be back soon. I think I speak for everyone wh
